We’ve teamed up with Edgar’s Mission to bring awareness of the cruelty in the animal collagen farming industry. Thousands of calves are killed and farmed every year and to meet market demand, but organizations like Edgar’s Mission help save innocent animals from cruel deaths, as noted in the story of Hansel & Gretel. As collagen continues to trend in the skincare industry, it’s expected to reach over $6 Billion in value by 2025–more demand means more deaths. Why collagen, though? Studies continue to show that collagen may be the best way to maintain wrinkle-free, vibrant skin. Scientists have found that getting external sources of collagen is an extremely effective form of skincare–so it’s no wonder that the demand for collagen is high in the beauty industry. We don’t have to harm animals any longer to get this prolific ingredient: we present our plant-based vegan collagen. Created in a lab, rather than created from dead animals. For every Vegan Collagen product sold, we will donate $1 to Edgar’s Mission. Share this post, spread the awareness. Be on the right side of the future in beauty.
