• That we all need to get adequate sleep to be healthy and that adequate sleep means 7 to 9 hours every night.
• We have an artificial lifestyle today, but we need sleep to have good health
• All of our anabolic processes work at night, while sleeping
• Our immune system requires sleep to operate at optimum level
• Aging is caused by a reduction of growth hormone, however, growth hormone (and exercise) makes growth hormone
• Weight stays off more easily with sleep because lack of sleep causes hormone imbalances which makes us want to eat more food
