Homemade Anti-Aging Face Cream with Shea Butter
While this face cream has a whole bunch of ingredients, it is quite versatile in a sense that it fits both dry and oily skin.
Anti-Aging Face Cream Recipe
Melt ½ cup of pure Shea butter over medium-low heat, with the help of a double boiler.
Once you get it melted, stir in 1 teaspoon of raw honey and 2 teaspoons of argan oil.
Put the mixture in the fridge for 15 minutes to make it partially solidified.
After that, take it out, and start slowly adding 3 tablespoons of pure organic rose water, while whipping it into a fluffy cream-like consistency.
Once you’re done, add 5 drops each of these essential oils: sandalwood oil, geranium oil, lavender oil, and frankincense oil.
Mix again, and store in a clean and sterilized amber glass jar, because it protects the face cream from the light.
To use, take a pea-sized amount and massage it gently onto your clean face twice a day (morning and evening).

Sandalwood Oil makes the skin suppler and elastic, maintains its proper moisturization, and makes the skin brighter.
Geranium Oil regulates the sebum production, and makes the skin smooth and glowing.
Lavender Oil reduces inflammation, and calms the skin.
Frankincense Oil maintains the proper level of skin’s hydration and elasticity, tightens the skin, and fades scars.
Rose water boosts collagen production due to its high vitamin C content.
It is also very refreshing and soothing, and makes the facial cream cooling and light.
